Da S demoted to do an assistant’s chores for Summer’s Bubbles

For the sake of FTV’s idol drama, “Summer’s Bubbles”, Barbie Hsu had to perform the duties of underlings, such as helping artistes carry their baggages and tie their shoelaces, accompanying them to the doctor and bowing to them to show her respect. She even had to endure the insults of Jiang Yi, who “claimed” that Barbie lacked the qualities to enter the showbiz and, worse still, a slap from Maggie Wu.
These unbefitting actions were necessary for Barbie Hsu, known among her friends as “Her Majesty”, who was to play the lead role from high school years to adulthood. In the beginning, Barbie’s character had to endure many criticisms as a newbie in the industry, thus explaining the “torture” she was being put through despite her status as a superstar.
In addition, Barbie has a complicated relationship with both Peter Ho and Huang Xiao Ming vying for her love, a type of love which the female lead describes as suffocating and abusive.
In order to fulfill the depiction of the lead character as having beautiful black hair and smooth white skin, Barbie has also taken pains to maintain her fair complexion, ie carrying an umbrella during the breaks to block out harmful UV rays. Although both male leads laughed at her in the start, Peter Ho eventually joined her in the activity as the director complained that he was getting too tan for his role.

I love the drama “Summer desire” and I hope will be the continuation of this drama … and whether Peter ever liked Da s, if that’s true .. It is very nice .. they seem suitable partner …

Summer desire is the best drama series i ever watched. The story about a str0ng n introvert girl that should choose one of two great boys. I prefer Ou chen than Luo xi because he has done a great sacrifice to Xia Mo and that sacrifice made me fall in love with this drama series. I hope the sequel of this drama will be greater than the first
This was an amazing series. I was very doubtful at first, due to the trailers being so dramatic. But I am glad I stuck thru the series. For once, the girl isn’t the typical damsel in distress type of girls who long for their true love. Da S played an amazing role as Xia Mo; strong & independent girl. I rooted for Ou Chen straight from the beginning. There were points where I was seriously unsure who Xia Mo will chose…Great & wonderful series. I hope there will be more of these in the future.
