ASOS Sisters Unexpected Rise to Fame

From the time they debuted, DaS and Xiao S had been greatly creative, their witty and sharp style had brought them enormous fame, in 1994, the 2 debuted as “SOS” sisters of Shiu, releasing their first album, even though the response was so and so, for them it opened the way to the entertainement circle, with more albums, hosting and even to the japanese market, suddenly raising to fame.

Debuting in 1994 as SOS, with their first album to make people get to know them, what really got them famous wasnt their singing skills or looks but their creative and witty responses that left a deep impression.

TV producer Chen YuLin explains : “Even before they debuted, their music company boss brought a video of them to me, in it was the 2 sisters, they were looking bored and chatting in a park, the other producers said they wouldn’t get famous ! They were too wierd !”

Da Xiao S’ chaotic performing style made the producers not knowing what to think, their special and unique way of thinking brought fresh blood to the then conservative showbusiness, Senior in the music field Xu Chang Du points out : “Some of their words made you slowly meditate on and brought fresh thinking, like can we not be that serious ?! Can we relax a little ?!” Now the 2 sisters have each their own success, one with the hosting world and the other into the big screen.
