The official trailer for the movie Future X-Cops starring Barbie Xu and Andy Lau has been released for quite sometime. Now, the official posters have come out as we move towards the showing date.

The film is directed by Wong Jing and it is about a super hero from the future who travels back in time to protect a child who is pursued by assassins.

The film is will be released March 30th.

TV producer Chen YuLin explains : “Even before they debuted, their music company boss brought a video of them to me, in it was the 2 sisters, they were looking bored and chatting in a park, the other producers said they wouldn’t get famous ! They were too wierd !”

Da Xiao S’ chaotic performing style made the producers not knowing what to think, their special and unique way of thinking brought fresh blood to the then conservative showbusiness, Senior in the music field Xu Chang Du points out : “Some of their words made you slowly meditate on and brought fresh thinking, like can we not be that serious ?! Go Vegetarian!” Hsu originally wore a white top during the photo shoot, but it became soiled when the piglet had an “accident” while Hsu was holding him. Unfazed, Hsu joked, “That’s not mine!” Hsu thought of naming her new friend “Bacon” for fun but feared that the piglet might really become someone’s breakfast someday. Instead, she named the piglet Dai Dai in memory of her beloved dog, who passed away a few years ago. The new Dai Dai has been adopted into a loving home.

Barbie Hsu will be having her own wax figure along with other famous Asian stars such as Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, and Michelle Yeoh in Madamme Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Her wax figure will be based on her character in the film “Future Cop”. Barbie Hsu had to smile for 2 hours while posing for the wax figure. Barbie’s wax figure will be shown the same day the film “Future Cop” will be released.

Barbie Xu went to Shanghai to attend a Christmas tree lighting event. Her wish for next year she hopes that her work will be smooth. This Christmas, Da S will be working and for next year movie proposals are lining up for her. When asked about her love life, she replied, “I’m not worried. God will send me a man, he’ll come at the right time. I’m not anxious nor demanding. Right now, I have a very busy schedule, if God sends me such a big gift right now, I’m afraid I might not have the time to manage”. She also added, “My life is perfect, I have family and friends. That’s enough for me and I’m very happy. The only thing I need to improve now is my career.”

On this day, Barbie Xu was wearing a black gown and crystal jewelry for Swarovski’s Grand Gateway’s 16m tree and lighting the 500 thousand imitation crystal tree. The Christmas Tree coming from Austria is worth more than 1 million.

Barbie has been a vegetarian and had stated, “Eating meat is like eating corpses.  It makes me sick and sad.”

The film follows a love story between a retiring assassin (Michelle Yeoh) and a messenger (Jung Woo Sung) whose father was killed by the assassin’s former associates. The assassin is initially unaware of this, as well as the fact that her lover is well-trained in martial arts. Meanwhile, a character played by Wang Xue Qi wants a supremely powerful sword artifact in Yeoh’s possession. After locating her, Wang Xue Qi’s character sends out assassins played by Barbie Hsu and Shawn Yue to retrieve it.

John Woo has stated that it is by far the best wuxia (martial arts) script he had in years. Rain of Swords will eventually move to Hengdian and Taiwan before wrapping up in February and is due for release in the third quarter of 2010.
