Singapore — Hottie Barbie Hsu stars in a new pro-vegetarian ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia. In the ad, which was released today, Hsu shows off her sexy curves in a "Powered by Tofu" T-shirt and an unbuttoned pair of short shorts, striking a fierce pose next to the words "I Am Barbie Hsu, and I Am a Vegetarian."

Barbie Hsu will be having her own wax figure along with other famous Asian stars such as Jacky Chan, Andy Lau, and Michelle Yeoh in Madamme Tussaud's Wax Museum. Her wax figure will be based on her character in the film "Future Cop". Barbie Hsu had to smile for 2 hours while posing for the wax figure. Barbie's wax figure will be shown the same day the film "Future Cop" will be released.

Barbie Hsu will be playing an assasin in a new Chinese Kung Fu film called "Rain of Swords". The film already started its production November 3, 2009. At the opening ceremony, the plot details and characters were revealed. The US$12 million-budgeted film stars Michelle Yeoh, Jung Woo Sung, Paw Hee Ching, Wang Xue Qi, and Shawn Yue.

Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛 ) is set to star in a new Chinese film directed by Director Wing Shya called "Hot Summer". It's a romantic comedy and is set for release next year. The movie has 6 love stories combined in which Barbie will play opposite Nicholas Tse in one of the love stories.
The movie also stars Jacky Cheung, Vivian Hsu, Daniel Wu, and Rene Liu.

Barbie Hsu has now been crowned the Asia's Sexiest Vegetarian for 2009 at PETA Asia Pacific.
