So what if Xiao S is a mother? I think she is very correct to comment that Clara Chuo is influencing the public to suggest that charities are primarily for tax rebate. That’s so demoralising. Xiao S, as long as it’s correct, pls do not take a stand! Jia you!

I totally agree with you ariess. Especially with hollywood celebrities, well some of them might do it for publicity and tax rebate so you can’t really blame people for having this “malicious” perception. Having this perception is quite sad because we are also judging people with pure intentions in helping others and it’s not fair to them.

Xiao S might also kill me because sometimes I have this perception towards Charitable Organizations. But I always feel that, none of these matter. We wouldn’t know people’s motives unless we can read minds . I wouldn’t care what motives one have for doing charity…but just as long as the donations/money are going exactly where they supposed to be then that’s all we needed to know.

.. i believe that with todays age..only few people believe the true meaning of charities, bec. most of this is done to make someone’s name beautiful and of ocurse for publicity, but w/ regards to xiao s, i also believe on the other hand that there are still good people w/ good hearts that do charitable things to really help poor people and the needy ones..
