Reign of Assassins Trailer (English Subtitles)

Hong Kong director John Woo’s new martial arts period piece ‘Reign of Assassins’, starring Michelle Yeoh and Jung Woo-Sung, has just released some new stills.

Set in ancient China, the film is about a murderess (Michelle Yeoh) who retires to live in a small town with her husband, an honest and optimistic mailman (Jung Woo-Sung). However, she keeps a treasure which attracts many assassins to the town.

With an investment of 14 million U.S. dollars, ‘Reign of Assassins’ boasts a star-studded cast that also includes Wang Xueqi, Barbie Hsu, and Shawn Yue. The film will premiere at the 67th Venice International Film Festival which will open on September 1st. Theatrical release is set for September 28th.
